What is the difference
between a janitorial service and a housekeeping service?

| Traditionally
a janitor will provide you with more specific services:
landscape maintenance, air duct cleaning, construction
site cleanup, removal of hazardous materials etc. Also,
janitorial services are generally geared more towards
businesses or institutions than to homes. Most housekeepers
provide general cleaning of homes, offices or apartments.
Our business is a mix between
the two. We provide services for both businesses and
households. We use more sophisticated, powerful equipment
than most housekeepers to perform tasks at both ends
of the spectrum.

Are environmentally
friendly products less toxic than traditional household
cleansers?

| No. Both are
contain substances that are toxic to humans. If you were
to drink a bottle of Simple Green it would be the same
thing as drinking a bottle of Tilex. However, if used
according to the product label and for their intended
purpose neither should be considered hazardous to your
health. If you have sensitive skin, environmentally friendly
products will be gentler to your delicate hands as well
as to our planet. |

How can I keep my
carpets fresh in between professional cleanings?

| To prevent stains
on your carpet, clean up all spills immediately. Spills
are 90% less likely to stain if you clean them up right
away no matter what the mess is made of. To keep your
carpets smelling fresh vacuum regularly. If you have pets
or smoke cigarettes in your house I would recommend sprinkling
baking soda on your carpet and allowing it to sit for
fifteen minutes before you vacuum. |
